Screen replacement in bunk window

Found out today that my youngest put his hand thru the screen in his bunk during our last camping trip last year. Screen/spline came out of the screen frame...not a tear...so should be an easy fix IF I can figure out how to get the screen frame out of the window. The one edge of the screen is covered by the glass Click image for larger version

Anyone know how to get the screen frame out???

Thnx!!

Window screens are usually spring loaded side to side. (Might be up or down as well). Just push to one side and you should feel the spring give and pull out the opposing side. Might be a little tight, mine was very tight, but did spring out.

There are springs that hold the frame in place you will need to press down or up or to one side or the other depending on where the springs are in that frame.

Not sure if the frame will need to come in or out for removal.
