Stink bugs

Anybody else have a problem with stink bugs and if you do, how do you get rid of them in your RV Coachman freedom Express? Thank you

stink bugs everywhere... come in the fall and want to leave in the spring

I have had them in my home and every crack in the camper now for 4-5-6 years

there are youtube videos on how to trap them

I vacuum them up when I can or grab them and toss them in my fireplace if it is burning in my home when they get active when it gets too warm and bring them in with firewood.

yep they stink

it seems they get a little less each year

We just remove them when we find em. Oddest place we found one was in the check valve for our black tank flush. Caused it to leak (fresh water) inside our bathroom cabinets.

No issue here with stink bugs. Japanese Beetles are another story. Fortunately they don't care about the RV. My flowers are taking a beating from them though.

We spend at least Sept. and Oct. in WNC, about the end of Sept. the Invasion starts. I made something similar to this it works great https://youtu.be/kHX-tGDvilw Another thing that works good is if your Microwave is mounted above your stove and has a light is to get one of those smaller aluminum foil pans put water and a little dish detergent in it and set it under the light turn the light on when you go to bed in the morning you will have some floaters in the pan. You could also get a light that would just shine on the pan if your Microwave isn't mounted

Stink Bugs seem to be headed South. We started with them in Virginia (Actually I think PA got them before we did) Now we are seeing them in SC. Where we did not before.

Some years are worse than others. Mostly see them in the fall. The first couple of years we had so many we vacuumed them up. Used a shop vac as they will ruin a good vac and their stink will get in and smell for a long time.

Don't recommend stepping on them. They don't seem to bite but their smell if it gets on your hands is fun to get off.

The internet has many suggested home made traps. One we use involves a water bottler taped to a stick with some soap water in the bottle, The bugs are usually not fast and like ceilings place the bottle over the bug and they will fall in . Replace the cap wait for the next sighting..

I got this spray after I watched this video on Youtube. You can buy the product from Amazon. I tried it and it worked like charm. I sprayed the outside perimeter of my Apex trailer.
