The weight of snow on the roof of a travel trailer can be enough to crush the stabilizers and is hard enough on the suspension. Tilt/slope the trailer so the melted snow runs off.
Rule of thumb is snow weighs an average of 20 pounds/cubic foot.
How big is your roof? Foot of snow on a 30' x 8' roof "only" weighs about 4,800 pounds. Want to try for a 2 foot depth with the stabilizers down?
