This is an awesome modification. There are so many campers we are looking at, and some that were not on my short list may now be if we make this change..

It's held by the weight (230lbs) and when the slide is in there's about 2inches of space between the island and the sofa, so it can't move around too much even on the roughest roads.

Yes seating is a must now one of are top priorities I think the dinette is just a waste of space. Really just leaning towards toy haulers when we can get it in are budget

Good to know. I'm going out looking for a couple recliners for our unit. We had the standard HAB taken out. I'm still thinking about whether or not I need to fashion some kind of restraints. I'll need to look at how much room there is when my slide is in.
