Tight wheel rim / nut clearance
I carry a set of wrenches with me in the event of a blowout or flat for our 360IBL. They worked fine with my old trailer. Today I was checking the wheel bearings (had to tighten 1) and realized all the sockets I carry were too thick. They would not fit inside the space between the rim and nut. I had to purchase a 22mm 12 point socket to get the tire off.
Just wanted to call this to attention. I assumed my old tool kit would work, but I was wrong.

Wheel bearing should be a little loose, it will tighten when it gets warmed up, (after a few miles).

If you jack the wheel up and can get over 1/16" movement in the top or bottom of the wheel, IT IS TOO LOOSE!

Believe he was referring to the actual lug nuts and not the spindle nut.

IF that is true, he is definitely "out to lunch" Lug nuts should never be loose and definitely will not tighten after a few miles.
He specifically stated "Wheel bearings" as you quoted.

Yeah-The OP said wheel bearings and it appears to me that he qualified that statement by saying he purchased a 22 MM socket, That size would never fit the spindle nut that tightens the bearings.
Jallen was referring to the wheel bearing nut and my first thought was wheel bearing nut also until he mentioned the 22 MM socket.

I don't think anyone would mean a lug nut will tighten after a few miles. JMO.

So I might not be the best at describing what I was doing.
I was checking the play in the bearings by lifting the tire off the ground. One tire had play, so I needed to remove the lug nuts. Had the problem with clearance between the socket / rim here. Used a 22mm 12pt socket to get them off. The spindle nut used a socket around 1 3/4". I got a 1/4 turn out of it and fixed the original issue. All should be fine now.
Main point I wanted to get across is make sure your tire changing socket fits properly.
