Trailer Brakes

Finally got my camper back from the dealer after being there for 6 months. "It's a long story". Anyways, when I got home and felt the wheels after driving for approximately an hour, the drivers side wheels were warmer to the touch than the passenger side wheels. Both wheels on each side were the same temp. What should I check? Could the Brakes be hanging up?

Bob

Get an IR thermometer to see the real difference.
If you were driving an hour and can touch it without getting burned I doubt if a brake is dragging, not all braking evenly from misadjustment and/or grease is more likely

I've owned my Freedom Express 257BHS for about a year and was experiencing a hot to the touch brake drum on one of my wheels. Recently took it in for wheel bearing service and the RV tech said both the brake adjustment and wheel nut for this particular wheel were too tight. Taking my trailer out for the first time after this service on Memorial Day and will see if this fixed the problem. I'm a newbie so not saying this is what is going on with your trailer, just sharing my experience for what it's worth. :-)

Thanks for all the input everyone. I think I just need to get it in the air and get the wheeled off for a closer inspection.
