Water Heater Operation Question

I have a Apex Nano 193bhs. We are taking it out for the first time this weekend, I just want to make sure all of the systems are operating before heading out.

With this unit, to use electric only do I need to turn on the switch inside of the panel and the switch inside of the trailer?

To use gas do I turn on just the switch inside of the trailer?

Thanks for helping a noobie.

It's all explained at this FAQ link here, and the operation of the Suburban water heater (which you have in the pic) is one of the more often misunderstood appliances, hence our very detailed link below:

on electric only it will take much longer to catch back up after dishes or a shower. I usually run off both and let the water heater decide which one it wants. (that's how its designed) burns very little propane.

And be certain the water heater is filled and air bled out BEFORE applying power.
