Where is my water pump?

I own a 2013 Forest River Freedom Express 282BH Travel Trailer. I can hear the water pump but for the life of me I can't find it. For years I have been putting Antifreeze in my on board tank and pumping it throught the lines. Fortunately I don't dry camp so it alright, but i would prefer to bypass the tank.

Thank you,

Ken in the Northeast.

If you can hear it you can find it. It is hidden behind a screwed on panel. #2 square head screws. Maybe under a drawer. Behind a drawer. under a bed. Mine is in the pass thru storage area behind a panel. It will be close to the city water hook up.

Crawl around on your hands and knees and listen around all the nooks and crannies on the floorplan. The pump is inside an interior structure or under a bed where the pump sound is the loudest. Bring a flashlight and an electric screwdriver with a #2 square drive bit to remove a panel. A good start to look for the pump is near where the fresh water tank is located.

On my 2012 coachman 292bh, it’s under the rear bunk bed where the water heater is and directly above the freshwater tank

Look behind cabinet doors for partial shelves and panels held on by screws. I found mine beside my oven under a shelf where the lower part was behind a wood panel. Now I just leave that panel off as it is behind a cabinet door. Check under your bed if it lifts, in a front storage compartment from outside (the worst space possible), in the bathroom or in the kitchen. Good luck and hope this helps.

On a small Coachmen Viking

My water pump is in the front cross-through compartment. It is behind a small boxed panel on the drivers side. Amazing how many places they stick these things.
