Which Apex 288BHS : window and AC differences

Our local dealer has four Apex 288BHS on the lot. We are trying to decide between two that are identical except for the windows and AC. Which would you pick and why?

Option 1: 13,000 btu AC and regular slide windows (advantage here I think is you can leave windows open a bit when traveling so it isn't as hot when you arrive to camp)

Option 2: 15,000 btu AC and seamless tinted windows (advantage here is better AC and windows can stay open if it rains)

How much different is there between the two AC systems? Which windows do you prefer? Trying to decide if the extra $$ for option 2 are worth it.

Thanks in advance!

PS This is our first post, but we have read a lot and learned a great deal already as we have been searching.

Welcome from Wisconsin. Personally I'd go with the 15K AC unit.

x2. 15k btu. I have the 13.5 and it takes long to cool down with only a 261 bh sbx.

I cant imagine a 13.5 cooling a large open floor plan 288bhs

Why cant you leave the seamless windows open a bit when traveling? ( Ive never had them or seen them really)

I got the crappy slide up and down windows on my Catalina..
