Do you mean the Wolf Pup 16FQ? The web site gives the base weight as 2686 lb. Add a battery, propane and some water/waste in your tanks, and you'll be around 3,000 lb before you add your food, clothing and stuff. The towing limit for your Escape is 3,500 lb. That leaves a negligible margin. You will be struggling severely on uphill climbs. Most people will say you need a margin of 10 to 20% to operate safely and comfortably. You really need a vehicle with a 4,000 - 5,000 lb towing capability.
