Battery Disconnect Switch: On or Off

One more of the often confused things that is encountered on the forums is about battery disconnect switches that are factory supplied...and should they be ON or OFF for normal use.

Here are a couple of youtube videos from Forest River that explain a few different type manual switches you may encounter in Forest River RV's. They also explain that you want the switches ON for use of the RV (including towing)...and OFF for storage.
