Fresh water tank drain

Is there a drain valve for the fresh water tank ? I do know I’ve got the low point drains for hot & cold water, do these also drain for fresh water tank ? Thanks for any advise. Have a 2018 puma unleashed 5th wheel 384 fqs.

There should be, absolutely.

I do not know what make/model you have, but on my Apex there are 2 low point drains side by side behind the left rear tire and located outside of the frame rail. Then there is a single white drain hose nearly centered between the frame rails and a few feet further to the rear.

Check both outside the frame rails and between them. I initially didn't find my low point drains because I was looking under the unit along the black under-belly cover, I saw that single fresh tank drain plug and assumed that all would be in that middle. Nope. I accidentally looked outside the frame and saw 2 more.

Just as a possibility... my fresh tank fill location for using a hose and funnel is almost directly in line with the fresh tank drain. And... if I look at that fresh tank fill port, then look straight down to the skirting below it..... there is a sticker that says "TANK DRAIN" stuck to the skirt. Any chance you have a sticker jammed onto the skirt someplace that says drain?

I am attaching pictures of my Apex 289TBSS ..... Not that I know if it will help you for sure. But maybe? I show that sticker compared to the fill port, and then up by the tires and under the city water port is where they put my models low point drain plugs.

There's a drain but it may take crawling under and finding where it sticks out of the underbody (if the tank is internal like mine) or from the tank itself. My popup had a plug which I replaced with a ball valve. My Roo has a valve accessible from inside the cabinet where the freshwater tank sits.

Correct, I absolutely do have to lay down on the ground and crawl to my drain plugs. They are not out at the edges so that you can just take a knee and touch them. The fresh tank drain appears to be centered in the tank so it is a few feet from the sides. The low point drains are closer to the side, but still are not seen or touched unless I get down on the ground flat and go under the unit.

That is much "fancier" than what I have. Mine has plastic plex tube sticking through the black underbelly cover with plastic pipe plugs threaded into the ends. Simple and effective, but I have to go to them rather than your units more convenient pull handle valves. Nice setup you have.

Fresh Water Tank drain

Hi Yall,

I have a 2015 30RKSS Puma TT. My Fresh tank drain is located right near and Behind the right tires. The Low point drains are in line with the rear axle in the middle. One red and one blue line.
