No, when the slide comes in, the whole slide starts to rise up when its nearing the end of its stroke. There are wood strips on the u shaped dinette that hold the table when it's lowered for the bed. One of these strips hits the cabinet. The table also barely touches the cabinet, but not as bad as the wooden strip, it actually broke off a piece of the strip, and gashed the cabinet.

Our Slide is 5+ inches from our cabinets when closed......

Do you have a late 13 or 14???? with the raised counter behind the sink (front side?) ?????

It's a 2013, there is a raised counter above the light switches by the door.

Ours is a 2013 but the counter is flat across & all light & slide switches are on the cabinet...........the cabinet drawers are over 5 inches from the slide (dinette base) In pictures of the later 13s the cabinets look bigger (wider) & come closer to the slide .......& have the raised counter section... an engineers idea of getting more cabinet space.... In any case being it is under warranty I would take it back to the dealer.

I don't think it would be a good idea adjusting the side if other than that it is working as it should....... the table may need some tweaking..........
