Weight concerns with household furniture?
We have a 2018 351-THSS, which has a single slide in the living room area where the dinette and couch are located.
It's time to do something about the factory furniture, they are well past their life span, especially the "couch".
I figure the slide should be rated for a fair amount, because it's got the dinette and a couch that are rated for sleeping.
However, I'm curious as to how much it actually can realistically hold, especially if I'm able to find some home furniture to replace that couch, which I assume will be much heavier.
I'd love to convert the dinette/sleeper into just a regular table since we have two queens in the garage already, but I'll have to do something with the electrical that runs underneath it, and the storage that we get that is pass through from the outside. Given that, we may be limited on options.
Right now the most important thing is getting that couch out! I just don't know how much buffer there is on the weight. When we walk in there with the slide closed, it feels not well supported so we try to avoid that as much as possible. I would put the slide out in that case but the manufacturer warns against putting the slide out without having the unit leveled first.
Thanks!
