1/2" water line connectors
Hello,
There are many Hand Tight Connectors that simply thread on, and the hose is attached via gear clamp or Pex clamp. Where do I find these...they are definitely not at Home Depot.
Thanks for the help

I'm surprised you can't find these fittings at HD when they are small like these I look in the irrigation section, I have found ACE around here has a good selection also you might try Lowes.

Search or ask for 1/2” PEX swivel adapters or swivel elbows.

According to the Google Wizard, they are available at Home Depot.
If you enter 1/2" threaded RV fittings into Google there are about 10,000 hits come back in less than a second.

The connectors can be found in the pex section of most hardware stores and big box stores. The water hose used by forest river is the biggest problem. The ID of the water pipe is much larger than the ID of pex pipe. You can order the water pipe as you won’t find it easily at any store. You can get fittings that fit perfectly into the water pipe. Irrigation fittings as the OP stated.
Pex 1/2 clamps seem to work with either of these fittings as this is what forest river uses. If you switch out to pex as I did be careful as the pex pipe is not very flexible and makes it difficult to use the screw on fittings. The water pipe is much more flexible so no strain on the connection. I assume Forest River used the water pipe in certain applications and then switched to Pex pipe.
The tool used to clamp pex fittings needs some considerable strength and room to work to use. I used both pex and screw type SS clamps for tight places where I couldn’t get the tool. When using the pex clamps the pipe will turn on the fitting and will not leak.

Shark Bite brand fittings work great on PEX. I keep a couple elbows and couplings in the trailer for emergency repairs. Don't forget that the braided flex lines in the OP photo can be had as lav/toilet connectors in the plumbing section. I'm going to use two of those to silence my water pump

Oetilker clamps
I believe the clamps shown in the photo were Oetiker clamps. They are a once and done clamp. That is, they require a special tool (although diagonal cutters can work if done carefully) to crimp the ears. Removal requires a heavy cutter or hack saw.

I used my dremel tool with a cut off wheel to get the PEX clamps off. I broke down and got the PEX tool and clamps, was at least 70 bucks, but now I have tool.

Clamps
I just took a closer look and saw the “aero” style clamp on the braided hose. This is the type line where I use Oetiker clamps. I would not use PEX clamps(rings) except on PEX tubing. Another type of PEX is installed using an expander tool that does not require rings as the PEX has memory and goes back tight around the fitting. For PEX in my rig, I’ve used and carry Sharkbite fittings; very handy.

Shark Bite is only way I go when replumbing pex. I just spent 7 weeks in my RV and found leaks at the manifolds for both hot and cold side. The manifold was two tees and a 90 for each side going to different faucets. I bought a 6' piece of pex, appropriate shark bite fittings, cut out the old joints and replumbed in less than an hour. No more leaks and very simple!

SharkBite makes them, but not in the push-on version — only in the PEX crimp/clamp versions.

Yes, Dremel tool is great for cutting pex clamps in tight places. Used one while re-doing my water heater connections and even saved some of the fittings that way by slicing the pipe off of them. If you are replacing with pex try to assemble as much of the configuration as possible before installing. Save the connections with the most room for last because as Dennis878 mentioned the pex clamp tool requires room and the ability to get a good squeeze on it.

I've not seen CTS pipe in R/Vs in the last 30 years.

What's CTS pipe?
Why will this CTS fitting not work with PEX?
Thanks

CTS fittings are for Copper Tube Size CPVC (plastic) that have different inner/outer diameters than PEX.
