110 volt macerator pump

I'm looking for a 110 volt AC macerator pump that will fit directly onto the discharge piping of my TT. I have a place within 75 feet of my driveway where I can park my TT to clean out the black tank better than just dumping at a dump station. All of the macerator pumps I found on the internet were either 12vDC or used a water hose. We checked the height of the discharge piping on the TT and the fittings on the sewer line to the septic tank with a transit and it will actually be a slight downhill run.

Make your own out of a household gargbage disposal and a 3" hose fitting; there are directions on here somewhere, I made one a couple of years ago and it works great

Been there, done that with the garbage disposer. It worked but was so slow pushing the ground up stuff the length of a 75 foot garden hose. The garbage disposer is not a true macerator either. I've had other campers show me their macerator pumps and the one common complaint they all had was the 12 vDC power. Wires would get how, start button would almost melt, just things like that. I believe a unit with 110 vAC would run better, longer, and not heat up so bad.

My sanicon is great.

You know why their wiring was getting hot? Most likely them running something like 18ga wiring to the pump. It draws some current.

I put mine in, with 12ga, and is working perfectly.

Yes if the wire is getting that hot then it is way too small a gauge. Make sure u put #12 at least and it will work great with 12 volts. That is what I did and it works great. If you have a really long run u can use even heavier gauge.
