2012 rockwood ultralite - water back up

I am having the worst experience -- water keeps backing up in the shower, the gray water tank has been emptied -- still backs up. I do have a light on my panel that says Galley is full, but can't find where to drain the Galley -- I can only find two valves (1 black water; 1 grey water)

Any idea how washing dishes at the sink can back water up into the shower stall, the manual is useless!

My galley and grey are plumbed together and act like one large tank. Others have a separate drain valve for galley and others have just a galley pull that drains into the grey. Maybe yours is the latter. I recently read a post on RV.net that a person had the same problem and it was discovered that FR had forgotten to install the galley pull so the dealer corrected it. Get under the trailer, maybe behind the tires and look for a pull. If you find it then drain the grey first, then yank the galley pull.

Sounds like Larry is on the right track.
Look for a galley tank drain.

it would help if you posted the model number, instead of just the brand.
that way we could look to see if it comes with a separate galley tank.

did the dealer not show you it during the PDI? that's a basic part that they should have shown you.
i'd call them and say, "Hey no one showed me where the galley drain is! Where is it?"
