Adjust Dometic 300, 310, 320 Foot Pedal?

Is there any way to adjust the foot pedal for flushing the toilet? Or maybe an adjustable replacement valve?

I'd like to adjust when the water turns on to fill the bowl, and when the dump valve opens to empty the bowl. As it stands, mine could use some fine tuning.

I’m new to the foot pedal. I’d like to know the same. I have a hard time filling the bowl with water, which is what I do when putting in the treatment.

I’ve had foot valves and hand valves on a variety of RV toilets.
They all work the same.
Very very very slight activation allows water in without opening the trap.
I believe you’re just being to aggressive.
Try again.

When all else fails, read owner's manual

7 Operation

7.1 Add water to bowl
To add water to the toilet, press the flush pedal
part way down. Water flows into the bowl while
flush ball remains closed. If the flush ball moves,
let up on the pedal slightly. Adding water to an
empty bowl helps prevent holding tank odors from
entering the living space. Adding water is recommended prior to flushing solids and toilet paper.

I added a residential bidet to ours. I guess you could use it to add water as long as your sitting on it so water doesn't spray all over.

Perhaps I was not clear?

OP (me) was asking if the foot pedal/valve can be adjusted?

You can replace the valve, but that is NOT an adjustment, it is just a replacement.

Unless they have changed recently, I have never seen an adjustable pedal on these models of toilets.
The 310 I have now adds water w/o opening the dump with VERY slight pressure. Maybe 1/2" of pedal depression.

We replaced our Dometic 300 with a Dometic 310. There is no adjustment with regard to the water valve and flush ball relationship.

I find that placing my heel on the floor and toe on the peddle gives the best control in operating the valve.

The only adjustment is in your foot.

You simply have to find the sweet spot when adding water without opening the dump valve.

Some seem to be more finicky than others but you'll eventually find it.

High water pressure can hinder finding the sweet spot too. Are you using a quality water pressure regulator?

There’s no adjustment on the peddle I just add water using the shower head the hose reaches out to the toilet.

There's a development opportunity!
