Annoying vibration Girard Tankless Heater

I have a Gen 1 Girard Tankless water heater in a 28RKS Wildcat. For the most part I love the system ( once I figured out how to use it!). This season it has developed a very noisy vibration when the cooling fan kicks in . It's progressively less noisy as the water heats and then really noisy again when the flow stops until the fan stops. ( probably something to do with expansion)The fan is designed to run about 1 minute after the last water flow to cool off the heat exchanger ( I believe). I've done a fair bit of tinkering with it and can apply pressure here and there on the unit when the door us open and get it to stop vibrating but can't pinpoint where it's coming from. It really echoes into the kitchen area.Anyone have the issue or know a simple fix. I'm a fairly handy guy but this has me stumped.
Thanks in advance.
