Apex 215rbk fresh water pump

Got out this week for maiden trip in our new coach. Most everything was great. One hiccup I can’t figure out. Had city water. Worked great. Tried fresh water tank because we do a lot of boon docking. The pump runs continuously. No water out of the faucets. Sometimes a little air. Got back home. 12 gallons in fresh water tank for sure. Same thing. Filled hot water heater from bucket through pickup hose near water pump. Know it’s full. Tried all combinations of valves at water pump. Still can’t get it to pressurize and shut off with all faucets closed? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm really wondering about your lineup. You said you were camping on city water why did you have to fill the HWT after you got home? Are you sure your suction valves for the pump are on FW and not Antifreeze? Check the strainer cap if one is installed on the suction side of the pump.
