Bath Valve Replacement

1 1/2 inch Bristol valve has failed, luckily it failed in the open position. Dropped underbelly removed the Bristol cable attachment stuff, valve will not move by hand.

Am going to replace it. Was wondering if anyone has done a direct swap out with a Valterra Bladex T1001PBC valve with cable attachment?

I contacted E Trailer as they sale this valve, they have advised it is a direct fit replacement. The Bristol cable sheath secure bracket is supposed to fit onto this valve. E Trailer has a very detailed measurement diagram, am going to check the measurements with the Bristol valve tomorrow.

I was going to just order a Valterra replacement valve with cable. However the support person at E Trailer advised the hole pattern is the same but the valve flanges from the Bristol valve may be thicker than the Valterra flanges which would not allow the Valterra valve to fit. The top portion of the Valterra valve fits over the two flanges.

Also going to change out the cable to a Valterra.
