Best way to replace Black and fresh water tank on Grey Wolf

Hello All, Well the family finally got out after some time for a great 4th trip.(hope you did !) On the way home the trip went south. The angle iron and metal someone put in the middle lane tore up our camper. Only thing left below is the grey water tank. Black, Fresh are junk amongst other stuff. How do I get the correct parts , not junk aftermarket and does anyone know the best way or reference on how to do it ? . We had our vacation planned for July 30th which is not going to happen. Any advise is greatly appreciated. 2016 Gray Wolf 26RR toyhauler.

thank you George and Laura

Is an insurance company involved? This is going to be expensive.

Definitely call your insurance and let them handle it.

if you have comprehensive insurance it may be covered

most insurance companies cover a towed trailer etc .... on the truck policy

Unfortunately, if you want original parts (or their aftermarket parts), you're probably going to have to go to a dealer to order them. I don't think these things come with part numbers stamped on them.
Your other alternative is another rv repair shop or a mobile mechanic.
Grey Wolf might be able to help you with the parts numbers and manufacturer, but I'm not certain about that.

contact Forest River and give them your VIN, they can tell you what make/model tanks were installed.

They don't in Virginia, liability coverage only on a trailer from the trucks policy, never seen a comprehensive coverage offered in the 40 years that I have pulled trailers but I can only speak for here and the two companies that we use and have used.

You would need seperate coverage on the trailer.

rv waste tanks

If you can drop the current tanks, there are places that sell all types of replacements. eg. https://www.tank-mart.com/rv-marine-...MaAp_oEALw_wcB

There are also vendors of fittings.

You are correct, you need additional insurance for the trailer damage. Connecting to the truck is ONLY liability coverage so be aware. I most likely will be going the insurance root , I do have coverage. thank you all.
