Black Tank Drain Issue-Solved

I had issues with black tank not draining properly since my 2006 335RLT Sandpiper was new. Only way I could get it to drain has been to use my Flush King to back flush multiple times. Needless to say it's been a PITA. After my last trip I decided it was time to "Go In". Took the camper to a dump station and flushed it for about an hour. Then let it drain until not even a drip came out. When I got home I removed the black tank valve. All four bolts sheered off. Replaced them with stainless.

From reading this forum I knew this is what I would find. The pics tell the story...yep, the disc from the toilet cutout "will not" go through the valve. Problem solved!

Probably only took 5 minutes or less once he decided to look for it. Don't know anyone that wants to tackle a black tank. Some folks say they don't even poop in their toilets. Only their DW gets to do that.

Youroo hit the nail on the head! Turbs, It took 8 years until I ran out of easy things to work on...OC, yes actually 10 minutes, not including the 20 mins to run to Lowes for the SS bolts/washers/nuts.

Ya'll know it happened because I have pics!
