Mine did work then stopped working. I think it might be the check valve. Not sure where it was so

Is the check vale behind the hook up? Cause the water doesn't go too far.

I have a Rockwood Minilite 2109s. Couldn't get the flush to work. Looked underneath and found that the rubber hose from the flush line going into the black tank was too long and whoever installed it just bent the hose in half to get the end connected to the black tank inlet. Cut about 4 inches of hose off, reconnected with no kinks in the hose and it works fine now. Hope this relates to your issue.

This is the same fix I had. Kinked hose. Forest River is getting too big to care about a quality product any more.

I think I will have a dealer do it since it is brand new and I have the enclosed underbody. Probably void some warranty.

It's not so much that they don't care about quality...it's their production schedule and the way they run the manufacturing facility.

When they get the required number of units produced for the day, the production crew can go home. So they run and work as fast as they possibly can. If they get done in 8 hours, they go home. If they get done in 5 hours they go home.

What would you do?

This applies to the Cedar Creek facility. I'm not sure about the 50 other plants.

Black tank flush

My flush also appeared to not work; found out that the hose was kinked when installed at factory. Oh well.

You may have a kink in the hose. That was my problem. I had to trace my water line inside a panel where the input is and straighten the hose . Works great now.

Ya apparently it was a kinked hose.
I could not find my check valve.
From the connection point in the service centre it go to the front of the 5er (disappeared somewhere) then goes back to the tank. Not sure where the check valve is.
