not following you vince...i stuck a long thin bamboo rod straight down the vent pipe from the roof...it bottomed out into the gray tank...no lateral.
.........now you can only see so much of the build and i cant see any connect to the black tank,......the vertical vent pipe isn't anywhere near the black tank....it's a good 3ft away going vertically into the gray....but who knows whats under the shower ....might be a lateral there....i works just the way it is so gonna leave it.
did you read that other black tank thread...people in colorado with the toyhauler....man i feel so sorry for her.

The cap for the flush connection still shouldn't come off. Not if the check valve is working properly. There should be a check valve in the black tank flush line.

A 35 gal black tank needs to be vented. I would be real worried about it. Something is not right here.

you would think the vertical vent pipe up to the roof would connect directly to the black tank...not the gray tank....i dont know...but i am not going to start ripping things apart....the black tank flush outlet is a good two feet above the tank,so if the valve is not closing, its too high up to let junk escape.... .
