Angry Black Water Tank Issues

We have used the GEO method several times and when we are done the sensors show empty.1 week later we are back camping again all set up and I check the black water sensor and all 4 are lit up.Now we are looking at the flush king.Does this work any better since this black water tank issue is making my BP go up.

Mike do u install geo method when you get to camp site or after you've drained tank when done camping?

How many gallons of water do you put in before installing geo method?

We put the GEO method in when the tanks were drained before we left the cg last week.
1 gal of hot water

The funny thing is I never had an issue with my sensors until I tried the Geo method. I'm not say the Geo method was responsible but more of just a coincidence.

I have the flush king and use it on my final flush before packing up. The one time that I didn't use it was when I tried the Geo method. I also have a tank flush on the camper and only used this method to clean the tank on that weekend.

I have since gone back to using the flush king which corrected the faulty tank readings. I'm not suggesting that the flush king will fix your problem, however, I've had mine for 3 years and have never had a problem with the sensors on my tank ( 2 different TT's) until the one time I decided not to use it.

Mike this may be your problem but not sure.......

On my unit when tank is drained I HAVE to put in at least 3 gallons to fill the 3 foot long outlet pipe before I can add geo method . If I don't it all sits in that pipe and does nothing .
Plus you Need several gallons in the tank as to splash around when driving.

One gallon may or may not fill you outlet pipe let alone be enough to splash around the tank .

I use about 5 total gallons and works every time.

Just something to think about.

We use the Flush King and just love it! Probably the 3 best things we use are the Flush King, our 35 gallon Thetford Tote and the Geo method. No smell, sensors seem fine (so far) and no messes (so far...oh man, you don't know how much I'm crossing my fingers right now! ha ha)

Insert want into M/T tank aim towards sensors, have someone check level lights. Clearn within a few minutes, little water accum.

Here's how I do it, cheap and guaranteed to work Schedule 120 1/2" CPVC pipe, glued, 3/32" orifice use valve and hose female fitting.
