Cardinal black tank flush

My brother had a problem trying to flush his black tank (first time on a new Cardinal) when we left a campground in Panama City Beach, Fl. It turned out that there was a check valve installed backwards in the flushing line. It was located under the bathroom sink for some strange reason. But anyway, no water would go through the line to flush his black tank until we turned that check valve around.
