Cardinal sink leak 4 water lines?

I have a 2020 Cardinal with a leak under the bathroom sink. There are 4 water lines. Hot and cold to the faucet and two others that go into a black plastic free moving box. Itís leaking at that black box. I donít know what that black box is for. A pressure regulator? Is it necessary?

Is it the back side of an outdoor shower?

I donít think so. It looks like a cold water line going into this plastic box and a cold line going out. The box is leaking.

Why would that leak if there’s no hose attached to the outside flush system?

Send a message via AIM to B and B
Could be water backing up from the line due to atmospheric pressure.

I had a hose connected to the flush system with the water off. I disconnected it and the pressure was released as well as water. No more leak! Thanks! But what does that valve do? I assume the water goes into it from the outside hose and out into the tank sprayers. But what does the valve do? Is it a back flow valve?

It is to stop back flow of water from getting into your clean water line or tank from the black tank flush

If itís leaking either replace it or remove it completely. Mine failed on my camper and made a royal mess when it flooded the camper. I removed mine completely.
