City Water Leak

Oh Boy! Iím glad I found it now... at least I know before camping.

Iíve had my 2005 Surveyor parked out in my yard for about two weeks now and I finally hooked up water to check the plumbing out. When I turn the hose on and went outside I noticed that there was water rushing down what looked to be the low point drain hoses as well as coming from underneath the underbelly skin at the rear bumper so Iím a little concerned because I donít know anything about plumbing. Has anyone experienced this before and where do I begin?

A picture would be nice are you sure you are connected to the city water inlet? It may be that our check valve on the potable water pump has stuck open and your filling the tank and its over flowing. Also remember even when at home connect a pressure regulator to your supply hose some city systems have very high pressure.

Yes I’m connected to city water inlet. Potable water fill is other side of trailer. I did put a regulator on and I didn’t fully open the spigot because this was the first time hooking water and I didn’t know what to expect. This is a new to me trailer.
