Crack below shower knobs

So while cleaning out the TT from our recent trip I noticed a crack directly below the faucet for the shower. It is new, and don't know what caused it. Really need to know what to do to fix it or if I should not even worry about. I've attached a picture below. Any advice is appreciated!

it's always helpful if you post year, brand and model of your trailer.
that's why most of us put that info in our signature line.

Is the picture upside down?
It looks like something got caught behind the edge, and age eventually cracked it. Take some tub caulk and seal it up.

No, not upside down. The caulk on the bottom is the drip edge above the tub.

The crack is directly below the box that the controls are mounted to. The top, left, and right sides are caulked but the bottom never was. I assume so it could drain if it got water in it??

Oh, you said the crack was 'below' the faucet.
Your are probably right about why the bottom isn't caulked.
Can you see in behind where it is cracked, to see if something is pushing it out?

The crack is below the box the faucet is mounted on. It is very small really can't see behind it, or feel anything.

I guess I'm going to have to pull the box off and get a closer look, unless I just caulk the bottom of the box and cover the crack . . . The question still stands what caused it and I have no idea . . .
