Crack repair needed in pottable water tank

2012 Rockwood A-122 A-frame---noted today that there is a 1" to 1 1/2" long hairline crack along an inside corner of the lower portion of the pottable water tank. Leak is a slow drip. Looking for recommendations for patching material that will adhere to the plastic tank, and/or other repair ideas.

The only repair I know of that is successful is called "Plastic Welding". Have only read about it but know it uses controlled heat and filler material just like steel welding. Ask around maybe you can find someone who does it. Due to the stress involved with the weight of water and bouncing in an RV its difficult for compounds alone to work successfully.

Get a permatex plastic fuel tank kit from any auto repair parts place.

Rough up affected area lay some of the two part epoxy down and then the fiberglass mat.

Then start laying in the rest of the two part epoxy till gone.

Be careful epoxy gets hot and sets up quickly!
