Dometic 310 toilet question

I have always had a Thetford RV toilet in my other RV's and when you push the flush pedal water immediately started to flow from the rim was holes during the flush. My new Sabre came with the new Dometic 310. When you push the pedal it flushes but there is a several second delay before the water starts to flow from the rim wash holes.
Anyone with a new Dometic 310, is this the way your toilet flushes? I would expect the water to flow from the rim wash holes the minute I press the pedal.

Mine does the same.
There's a delay in water flow.
I'm not sure it's an issue.
Or at least I don't have an issue with it.
What's your concerns?

Yes, It looks like the reason is after the swirl and the pedal is released, the water continues seeping into the bowl for a short time length. The purpose is to provide a good seal while using "low flush" technology.
