Smile Draining Fresh water tank

I have a Forest River Wildwood DL 40FDEN. I would like to know how to drain my fresh water tank without having to run the pump to drain it thru the faucets. There is a sticker that says "Low Point Drain" and a white valve close to the tank but I'm not sure that's it. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Typically, it's close to the tank.

Your low point drains are usually secured by a cap.. the freshwater drain can either be a cap or have a valve on them..I'm going to bet that the low point drains are right next to each other while the freshwater tank drain is further away..

Do you have photos?

It's too bad you didn't get a chance to video record your walk-through.

Low point drain(s) are for draining the water out of lines/pipes inside a unit. One is usually blue for cold water; on is usually red for hot water. They are not for draining the fresh water tank. Generally (note this word), the fresh water tank drain is under the tank itself. You generally have to get down and look under the unit under the tank to find it.

On my wildwood the drain is back by the axels where the tank is no where near the low point drains. I have two over flow drip tubes in same location and one with a shut off for tank drain. Mine is on the non door side of camper. clearly marked with label down on fender skirt

As with Trawlerphil - mine is directly under the water tank, and is a large “gate pull” valve, like the grey and black tanks are, but is white.

Since your trailer is rare here, pics should help more.

I have a slow drip coming from the pipe to the right of the blue pex line. Is that the drain, and should it have a cap on it? Forester 3051S 32'.Click image for larger version
