Electric/LPG Water Heater

We are out on the shakedown cruise with our new Microlite 22FBS. The water heater will not run in the electric mode. It runs fine on gas. All other 110 appliances are working fine. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot it. The manual is worthless. Thanks!

Give us the model number of the water heater.
Do you know it doesn't run or is the problem that no hot water comes out any hot faucet?

Have you located and turned on the electric element switch on the lower left corner of the heater inside the outside heater vent cover?
Is your heater breaker turned on inside your power center cover?

If those questions don't solve the issue, you'll need to find the outlet where the heater plugs in (is it plugged in?) and determine if that outlet is receiving power.

Have you looked at the water heater owners manual? As was said, the electric side switch would be accessed from outside.
This is true for most Suburban WHs. A few have the electric side switch inside, next to the propane side switch, which is what Atwood WHs have.

Thanks, everyone for the assist. I found the switch hidden behind a piece of tape. Good to go!
