I've used " lay flat" hose in the past for pumping waste from trailer to sewer and it works fine. It's really no different than fire hose with just a lower pressure rating.

Running gray water through it after the black cleans it up nicely anf just like fire hose it's not that hard to drain of water while rolling up.

Unlike garden hose it takes very little room to store.

The expandable hoses wouldn't be my choice even for regular use. Definitely fliw restrictors from my experience with my Son's.

What size hose are you using? If 1", what did you use as fittings? I can't find 1" barb x 3/4" GHT. The best I can do is 1" nylon barb x 1" male NPT, joined to 1" female NPT x 3/4" GHT.
