Expected GPM of water pump

Guessing the majority of people have the standard 3 GPM water pumps. Just out of curiosity I measured the flow rate from my sink faucet - efficiently located as far away as possible from the pump. Only got up to 1 gal after 1 min. There are plenty of restrictions between point A and point B, like the water filter and 20 feet of tubing. So not too surprised.

Any thoughts on what a normal flow rate might be? I'm not "that" curious to disconnect everything and measure at the pump.

What was the flow rate at your other taps.....bathroom versus kitchen versus shower versus outside?

3 GPM is likely a spec with no head and the water height that its drawing from even with the pump so there is little to no suction.

My pump is close to the sink but the sink is by far the lowest flow in my trailer.
The supply lines look about right for an icemaker. Go figure...

I checked the inside and outside shower - they are actually slightly higher at 1.25 GPM. Rechecked hot and cold sink faucet again - both are still 1.0 GPM. Didn't check the bathroom sink but looks the same as the kitchen.

Back to something more important - my football picks for the week.

Reduced water flow is a bonus for dry/boondock camping.

As for checking flow, do it without aerator/strainer installed than after it's replaced (or vice-versa).

All of my faucets, even both showers, have restrictors installed for the purpose of water conservation. For me it's not a problem.
