Extend a shower rod?
Does anyone have one of these. They look like they would well for more room in a smaller shower. My only concern is will I need to find a longer shower curtain. My shower curtain now is pretty long but not sure if it would extend far enough with this. Thanks.

X3! Buy it!! My wife loves it. And it also functions nicely as a drip-dry rod when in the "in" position.

Extend
I believe the Extend a Shower Rod they're speaking of is this one:
http://www.showerrods.com/NeoAngle.html
It's cool because it folds back and forth when needed.
I also believe these people at their site will modify a shower curtain size for you, as well as sell longer shower curtains.

I was wondering if anyone tried to put one of these extend a showers in a Forester? We have a 2014 Forester and the dealer can't tell us what is behind the wall, such as wood, or what, and we can't find it in the manual. So, I'm not sure if there is anything to screw the screws in to.

It's in stock at Camping World, on this page;
Shop RV Parts & Accessories -=
I saw one installed in an FR3. Works well and smoothly.

Call me cheap or a genius (?) but--I had one of the curved shower rods that are normally used in homes. Note: most of the curved rods sold in "Home Improvement Centers" are not curved the entire length of the rod. Most of the nicer ones have a somewhat straightened end on them. So-don't just go cutting off of one end to make one of these fit. I found the center of the curved rod then measured off 1/2 of the shower width plus 1/8" from this center mark towards each end. The 1/8", on each end, gives you just enough clearance to use the mounting brackets. I used the plastic anchors that require a hole be drilled (in my case 3/16"), push the anchor into the hole, then place the screw through the hole in the mounting bracket and screw into the installed anchor. I'm sure there are advantages to the unit sold in camping centers as it sort of "folds" back into the shower area. But, so far, we have had no problems with this set-up. A standard home shower curtain works fine and the amount of extension into the bathroom area does not interfere with toilet use.

I have this shower rod installed and it is well worth it to gain a little more room in the already cramped shower.

X2! Big difference. And it is great to dry towels or swimsuits on afterwards too.

We have installed the Extend-A-Shower rod in each of the past 3 RVs, and are going to install it on our new Sunseeker. (In fact, we ordered it built without the shower door.)
On the past 3 RVs, the screws just went into the thin wall plywood and nothing else, and they held up fine to lots of traveling. The original shower rods were also screwed into the same places. In the RV world, there is a lot of stuff attached to the wall with nothing backing it up. So, go for it.

An FR3 is the smaller motor home made by Forest River.

I bought a curved shower rod you would install in the home (similar to Thurman) and used a pipe cutter to cut the end to make it fit. I cut the end that has a plastic piece that slips over the end of the rod so the cut marks will never be seen.
I never looked back.
The old straight rod - curtain used to suck into the tub and cling to you. now it gives me a little extra room which makes it nicer.
Here is the thread I did of my install - http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...rod-11752.html
