Faucet question

Picking up our 2021 19RBHL in April. We have it in storage for now.

Am I wrong to be complaining about the faucet on the kitchen counter? Seems it may have been installed from the back before the counter was installed? Both right handed and we think it needs to be turned around. It’s on the work order so I hope it is easy and not creating a problem down the road.

Are you talking about the position of the faucet control handle? Well, our faucet was installed with the handle on the right, opposite of yours. We are both right handed, but I'd almost always find myself holding an item in my right hand and reaching around the faucet with my left hand to operate the lever. Plus, since I couldn't see the hot/cold markings, I could never remember which way to move the lever. I put up with this for about a year and it annoyed me. It made absolutely no sense. Then I realized the handle really should face the front! So, I loosened the faucet mount and rotated the handle forward, and retightened. It's a five minute fix (ten for me because I'm slow). Much better now!

I did the exact same thing in my home kitchen. Saw NO reason why the handle should be on the side. Like you, I had to think too hard about hot/cold. Had to reverse the hot and cold line so that right was cold and left was hot.

Putting the on/off, hot/cold on the side is akin to moving the turn signal to the right of the steering wheel. No reason.
