Nothing? No water spraying into tank? No tank content discharge?

That's the correct procedure. Sometimes it takes a minute or two to see the water flowing out the black tank valve. Do you have a clear elbow that you can see the water flowing out?

Ok Thats good, real good.
A few things to try:
Make sure the tank valve is opening. If you have a cable pull from a docking station to the valve, it may just be disconnect. (Assembly error)

Next is the old cut out stuck in the drain before the valve. You can try to run a hose up the dump pipe into the tank.

Then there is the second valve possibility. Some units have a “final” valve near where the dump exits. This is in case there is a leak in the primary or the primary inadvertently opens.

And the last (or first) thing to check is that the plug in the coupling end of the hose is removed. This applies only to WasteMaster systems.

And I know how this may sound but Is the water on at the hose bib?

Good Luck & Hope this helps.
Ducky

Many units have a vacuum breaker or check valve in the flush line. It's usually located under the bathroom sink; it will always be mounted higher than the tank. Usually looks like this:

Here's a diagram of how it's hooked up.

Sometimes they get installed backwards, so they don't allow flow.
