Freezing water leak, lesson learned, & what's this

Kind of a follow up post to my previous thread from before Christmas. I couldn't figure out how to edit the title.

Well, it got cold the next night out(12/26) and I got a slight leak that I was able to contain with two bowls. From the 26th to today, I didnt collect more than 4 oz. of water

Went to Walmart and got a heat lamp. Nope, WAY too hot!!

So here is a picture. The short piece that makes the horizontal "U" was leaking on both ends where the metal met the hose, not the coupler. Not exactly sure what that hose is for.
In fact, I am not completely sure what all this is and why its arranged the way it is. Except that the nearest hot/cold hoses at the top left go to the outdoor shower.
Also, the hose that extends off the front of the photo to me is just capped off. Is this the siphon for wet winterizing?

Red is hot to the outside shower. Blue is cold to outside shower. from left side of pump to the blue is supply to the water system from the pump. The hose with the cap is for winterizing, it is going to the suction of the pump. The little black thing on the suction of the pump looks to be a small filter.

If you are going to be in the cold temps for a while you may want to disconnect both lines going to the outside shower and plug them. the outside shower faucet is likely to freeze and crack.

If the horizontal “U” shaped hose is leaking, just replace it. That is the hose that runs from the output of the water pump to the rest of the camper. Easy fix. Jay.

People disconnect the hoses from the outside shower tees. Then cap them off for the winter after blowing out the outside shower faucet, sprayer, and hose. It is common for the outside shower to freeze if you use water in the camper during the winter.
