Fresh tank fill

Hi All, we purchased a 2015 Heritage Glen 28rks this summer. Trying to get a recommendation on water transfer pump. our campers fresh tank does not have a gravity fill only a garden hose fill up, which is fine in a camp ground. I have tried a harbor freight drill pump but that was worthless.

I would recommend rigging a shurflow constant run pump easy to do with a 40/60 cut in court out range. they pump fast and can be run dry. You will need a 12v power source.

I used a 12V Marine deck washdown pump with an adapter on the power cord that allowed me to power it from the TV trailer connector. This allows the transfer tank to be in the bed of the truck and a simple connection to the fill port with standard water hose. You can also use an RV water system pump with adapters.

Do you have a winterizing port?

You can pull fresh water into the system via the on-board pump through that.
The pump doesn't care whether the supply is the fresh tank or some other tank/bladder/jug.

On my last rig, I did what 5picker suggests. I would suck water in using the camper's onboard pump using the anti-freeze inlet. I would then use the outdoor shower and connect it to the freshwater fill (in my case it was still gravity fed). The new camper isn't setup the same way.

We've been rallying with 50 families. I've lent my equipment out a bunch. This pump has pumped a couple hundred gallons of water this week from bladders to campers:

I don't have any idea if it's drinking water safe, but figure it's going quickly enough through the pump to not matter. All of our drinking water is either bought or runs first through my ClearSource water filter and then through our Berkey water filter.
