Fresh water drain valve

Seem to have a problem locating a mod I've seen on the forum to extend the fresh water drain so I don't have to crawl under my 2511 rockwood mini lite. The hand turn plastic valve handle broke off. Thought as long as I'm at it, may as well run it out to where it's more convenient . The valve comes out of the tank on the driver side with a wedge shaped valve mount shroud, haven't explored what's behind the wedge valve mount as trailer is still in storage. One of the things I'd like to do once it's home. Thank's for any info.

Behind that cover is some reinforced vinyl hose the valve is attached to. You can splice into that..

My valve had about 2.5" clearance above the road, in the middle of the trailer. There was a 4" piece of pex between the tank and valve so I just cut the pex, installed a 90 elbow and 3' of pex to get it to the side of the trailer. Another 90 to turn the valve towards the back and a little support for the pipe and I was set.

Still need to reach under for the hot and cold low point drains.
