Fresh water fill
Upgraded from a 98' to a 19'. It's a Coachman Apex Nano 193bhs. Do I have to be a rocket scientist to fill my tank.. help!!

Just fill it. Seriously. I only have one inlet for city and assuming fresh, but no switch to tell the system what to do. And the "manual" is useless!!

Your gravity-fill fresh water tank fill inlet is on the driver’s side to the right of your storage compartment door.

In looking at a couple of online videos of your model (although they were 2020 models) it 'appears' there is a fresh water gravity fill port right behind the front pass through storage door on the drivers side. Hard to tell from the video.

You are not dumb at all. The engineers who design these things have so many competing concerns that the last thing that they think about is, “This ought to be next to that.”
The FW tank can weigh so much that where it is placed for weight distribution purposes is far more compelling than where the inlet will be. As Bruce mentioned, that inlet needs to be as close to the tank as possible.
I’m glad that two other members were able to help you locate the inlet. Keep asking questions. Folks here are glad to answer them.

Gravity fill ports can be finicky, meaning they often get air locked (water blows back out when filling, especially if you try to fill too fast) the fill tubing easily gets kinked during installation and they often do not vent well. (air in the tank needs to be displaced when filling)
As Bruce mentioned, having the fill port as near to the location of the fresh tank as possible on a gravity fill is better.
Tanks that fill from the city water port by switching a valve... not as critical.
Only questions not asked are dumb ones.

I just got a 37-foot 1995 Coachmen Royal 5th wheel and we pumped in the freshwater to the 40 gallon holding tank...what fun!
Instead of getting a huge amount of water from the pump, we had to fill the tank for over 90 minutes! The next day, we put new propane in so I have hot water.
On my system, the city water hookup is next to the freshwater hookup, and both go to the same holding tank...the only difference might be regarding the pressure in the city water hookup...it slows it down.
Just my 2 cents, for what it's worth.

City water connection should not fill the holding tank. If it is then you have a bad check valve. That would explain why it took so long to fill your tank.

This is where every manufacturer should require their design people to take out the unit for a week, set it up, live in it, and close it up to experience the uses and frustrations of their designs!
