fresh water inlet

I was wondering if I don't have access to a high pressure flow for our fresh water tank and needed to use Jerry cans, what would you suggest? As well, would it become an issue if I just removed the pressure valve from the FWT inlet?

Since we have no idea what trailer or RV you have, how can we answer? That being said, many people use an RV water pump with garden hose adapters and wires with alligator clips long enough to go to their batteries. The advantage to that is that it's easy to fill your FW tank from 5 gallon (or larger) containers and you also now have a spare water pump with you.

I have a collapsible 5 gallon plastic water jug with a small section of clear plastic tubing for use in an emergecy.

As was said, youve not provided any information on year, make, model number or even type of RV you have.
Nor do yoj have any of that listed in your profile.
But I use a 6 gallon water jug from Walmart to shuttle FW since we dry camp a lot, if that's what you're asking about.

By the way, there is an East to West sub-forum here.

Using a transfer pump is always an option. I have used the Harbor Freight 12v transfer pump quite a few times. It's not drinking water safe, but I don't camp 100% without hookups and I still haven't grown another arm.

A lot of folks will take an RV pump and put hose connectors on it.

And there's one guy here who uses a 120v home break transfer pump for the same purpose. It's FAST!
