fresh water tank stuck check valve

I bought a 2014 5th wheel Rockwood ultralight rear lounge (8289WS) in 2017. Camped both dry and with hookups through 2020 when we parked it for COVID. Since 2022 we mainly use hookups for RVing because the city water works well. The fresh water tank doesn't allow water to the pump. I believe the check valve is stuck closed.

Have tried most of the solutions posted on various sites but no luck. I need to know if this model has a check valve in the pump or where its located to replace it; and any suggestions on how to replace it.

I have never observed a potable water tank with a check valve before the pump? I think the first step I would take is disconnect from city water, remove pressure from the system (open a faucet) check the strainer before the pump (if there is one) then put some water in the FW tank, and then turn on the pump and see what happens. based on the results proceed from there.

1. Do you have a winterization valve(s) on the inlet to the water pump? Winterization valves will prevent drawing from the freshwater tank by either closing off the freshwater tank suction and/or opening the suction to the antifreeze pickup tube.

2. Any type of air look, almost no matter small, on the inlet side of the pump will break the suction and keep it from pumping. Typical sources of air leaks are the valves in 1. above and a cracked or loose inlet strainer cap.

3. To be honest, stuck closed check valve is extremely unlikely, and 99% chance the check valve is internal to the pump.

Some photos of your piping arrangement at the pump might help to see exactly what you have.
