Freshwater tank drain handle

Anyone replaced their freshwater tank drain handle?

Funny you should ask that question....I was looking at ours yesterday...exact same one as in your pic...I agree...its a piece of crap! And seems unless its positioned just so, it drips every so slightly...I was looking at it and not sure how to change it as those aren't screws we see there but rather rivets, so not sure how its built in behind there.

Hi iluvlcy,

I have a 2006 rockwood ultra lite and my freshwater drain handle broke off at the top. Did anyone ever give you an answer as to how to replace this cheapa.. part? Please let me know if you can.

Camco

I replaced one a few years ago on my previous trailer. Camco sells a replacement. I had to cut my hose at the old valve as I had no way to cut the PEX clip. ( I had enough extra length in the hose to make it work)I drilled out the rivets, than re-riveted the new valve in and used a hose clamp instead of a PEX connector to reattach.
