Furrion tankless issues

2022 FOREST RIVER XLR BOOST 29QBX

I have had the absolute worst experience with the Furrion tankless hot water heater. First time out in May I found the dealer did not properly winterize. Once I figured out what was going on damage had been done. Who designed this thing? I get it they pop. But one would think they would have it sealed so water is deflected out of the unit. Sadly this is not the case. The design has no sealant in the box. Its just screwed together. So if water hits the side of your unit in a driving rain. Instead of the water running out…..it comes inside. Surely there is a class action suit? I have honestly never seen such a poor design. So new camper back to the dealer to have the same trim replaced they replaced the last time. I am not sure what I was thinking parking my RV outside 🤷*♂️. I’ve just about had it with this Furrion junk!!!

Guess I'm not seeing how this is a Furrion problem.
Sounds like it wasn't winterized and something broke. Not a Furrion problem. Is the box you are referring to the enclosure the water heater is in, or the heater itself?
I understand being frustrated and wanting to vent, but your rant creates more questions than it explains the actual problem.

The design of the water heater is a joke. If you read my post it rained here recently. Very heavy and the water cane into my camper through the water heater. Because it is designed horribly. Water tan down the side of my trailer. It traveled inside my water heater door accumulating in my water heater assembly and then leaking into my trailer because of its poor design. Look at the blowup online its a poor design.

I remember looking at those awhile ago when I first seen one in a new trailer on a dealer lot, and thought the same thing. Calling the design a joke might be giving them too much credit.
