Galley tank drain....?

I’ve searched the forum and found many locations, but on my 2010 Flagstaff I see no such handle on the under carriage. Drained black and gray tanks, galley tank still indicates 1\3 full. Any idea?

Tank indicators are notoriously incorrect.

Did you drain the galley tank port too or are you saying you haven't found it?

While mine are close together, some are not. Some are close the rear of the unit with a separate hose port.

My brothers Flagstaff galley drain was near the rear bumper.

Thank you for the prompt reply. No I have not been able to locate any Galley drain Port. All I have, or at least all that I see are the gray and black handles located in proximity to each other. But I'll be looking again. The previous owners said that he thought that the galley drain just drained into the gray tank.

Rear kitchen units generally have a separate valve/outlet at the back of the unit

Sometimes the galley pull can be up in the frame close to the tires as well - on the driver side

Another option is there is no separate valve and the panel is generic and may have “things” on it that your unit may not actually have

This camper is a front kitchen unit, The Galley is as far forward as can be. He the undercarriage is completely sealed invented, I'll continue to look but indeed it may just be showing a generic 1/3 full and mean nothing more.

It is possible that you only have two pulls. One for grey water ( galley and grey on same pull ) and one for black. We do not have a Flagstaff but we have had it both ways on campers.

As far as the level indicators they are almost never accurate.

Just wondering what the camper model number is? The ones that I've looked up so far all show 64 gal. grey water capacity which would be two tanks and probably two valves. Also, does your panel show two different tanks and two different readings? Just questions that came to my mind.

It is hard to say our current and previous campers had two grey tanks, two indicators but one valve for the grey water. Our current trailer has 86 gal grey / 2 tanks (grey & galley) one dump valve.

Model number may help could have one or two valves.

The galley tank IS a grey tank. If the grey tank is now empty open the tank valve and run some water in the galley. Does it run out of the grey tank drain?

Thanks Oaklevel, didn't know they were doing the one valve now. We've had 2 campers with two grey tanks and both had two valves. Learned something new on the forum today. Hope OP has figured it out, great suggestion from CedarCreekWoody.

Apparently the galley tank just drains right out with gray water. Thank you all!

I hope we can take the 'apparently" with some kind of authority.

Did you open the grey tank valve and run water at your kitchen sink to verify?

None the less... if you are happy... we are happy!

PS... Thanks for your service!

You're welcome.
Apparently means by evidence of, no further implication of authority. Galley tank shows full, gray at 3/4....pull handle, drains to a trickle, flush briefly with hose in sink, all is well.
I'm happy, Brother. Thank you!
