General plumbing ? Newbie Alert !

I have two capped off, I guess drains located under our 832IKBS the on the left side under the camper, just aft of the city water connection. Could someone let me know what these are? I am sure they told me when we picked up the camper but I have forgot and I have a slow drip from them. Anyway, " Newbie Alert" sorry. Chris.

Yep.....low point drains. I took the caps off of min and installed a couple of 1/2" bal; valves.....made it easier to drain.

I would be some what leery wrapping a plastic housing with an electric heater.

A couple of disposable baby diapers and some tape will provide very good insulation.

I see that now, my reply was for a thread about cold weather camping which I do not see now..

Not the first time it has happened.

Software glitch.

A Mod can delete it to cleanup the mess.

My apologies to OP.

Anyway. Thanks for the replies about the low point drains. Should these be drained every day? Where do they come from ?

People get in trouble here by assuming any other trailer is exactly like our own since so many trailers/designs/implementations are covered here... BUT many trailers have two low point drains - one for draining all cold water lines and one for draining all hot water lines. The only time I want to drain all water lines is when I winterize and, in my climate, that's once per year.

Actually we have three points, hot cold, and fresh water. There is probably another on the OPs trailer; it is pretty important to find it before winterizing.

I opened mine up a few weeks ago because I was not able to schedule any camping time and want to lower the risk of any bacteria having too much fun, making the system stinky.
Drain the system for extended periods, but especially for winterizing.
