Gray water tank

Hi, my husband and I are out with our new alta 3150 for the 1st time. It appears our gray water from the kitchen sink is dumping into our black tank. Do you think this was a plumbing accident or perhaps there is some valve we were not told to switch over?

Thanks in advance for assistance.

Sorry, what is an Alta 3150?
Google didn't come up with anything.

I think it's an EasttoWest rv. https://www.easttowestrv.com/travel-trailers/alta
To answer the question, the water from the kitchen sink is probably not hooked up to the black water tank. However, in some rvs (like ours) the bathroom sink is hooked up to the black water tank.

Ah, the KBH would have helped the search.
The Alta line is barely a year old. I believe that you are the first FRF member to own one.
So i doubt if anyone is familiar with your model.
